In the past week, three ministers from the Government of Rwanda have resigned. This is reported by the newspaper Mwananchi. According to journalists, on Friday, 14 February, the Minister of Health of Rwanda, Diana Gasumba, resigned. According to the press service of the Prime Minister of Rwanda, Gasumba resigned due to a number of irregularities in the course of her work. The specifics of the violations were not revealed, reporters said. Gashumba has held office since October 2016. According to the publication, on Wednesday, February 12, Minister of Justice Evode Uwizeyima and Minister of Education Isaac Munyakazi also resigned. For his part, Uwizeyima said he was retiring over the guard beating scandal. Munyakazi, however, did not explain the reasons for his decision.
