The budget of Kyrgyzstan for the first time will allocate 145 million rubles for the treatment of cancer patients
For the first time in the republican budget of Kyrgyzstan there are target 160 million soms (144.7 million rubles) for the purchase of medicines for chemotherapy and for the treatment of children. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova at the Congress of Oncological Patients, the press service of the government reports. According to her, in 2019 the republic developed a special list for timely provision of vital drugs, including medicines for the treatment of cancer. The official also said that for the national center of oncology and hematology purchased high-tech medical equipment two linear accelerators. In addition, citizens with cancer or other serious diseases that pose a serious threat to life will be able to receive the accumulative part of the pension ahead of schedule, Deputy Prime Minister said.
