Two soldiers killed in pursuit of perpetrator in Lebanon

Two Lebanese soldiers were killed and three others wounded while chasing a stolen car in the northeast of the country, Xinhua reported, citing national media. The incident took place in the town of Hermel, where Lebanese Army personnel were involved in the search for the stolen vehicle. Five soldiers were wounded in the shooting from a car being pursued by soldiers, two of them dead. The gunman criminal was eliminated by retaliatory fire. The driver is arrested. The attack on the Lebanese army was confirmed by Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab.
