18 activities suspended in Greece due to coronavirus pandemic

The suspension of 18 activities was announced due to the epidemiological situation on coronavirus by the General Secretariat of Civil Protection of Greece. The full list of suspended activities was published on 14 March by the press service of the Civil Protection Department. From 14 March until 14 April, all catering facilities are closed, except those exclusively engaged in the delivery of food or the sale of food for removal, without premises with tables and service. Cinemas and any companies involved in providing space for a wide audience are being closed. Libraries and archives have been suspended, museums, architectural monuments and other attractions have been closed. All gambling establishments, fitness centers, amusement parks, beauty salons, shopping malls and supermarkets except for grocery are closed. It is noted that administrative activities may be carried out by closed enterprises behind closed doors and subject to mandatory hygiene rules. The management of financial institutions was instructed to take all protection measures in cash registers, bank branches should not contain more than five clients at the same time.
