Case on the death of a Russian citizen on the island of Crete brought to court
Novosibirsk investigators completed the investigation of the criminal case of the death of a Russian citizen as a result of a road accident on the island of Crete. The case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation Violation by the person driving the car of the rules of the road, which by negligence caused the death of a person. It is specified that he committed a crime outside Russia against a citizen of the Russian Federation, was not convicted in a foreign state for this crime, so in accordance with the requirements of Part 3 of Article 12 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, legally prosecuted under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal case with the confirmed indictment was referred to the court.
