Georgia: All violators of the self-isolation regime are quarantined
All citizens who violate the regime of self-isolation, officers of the patrol police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia are forcibly quarantined. Relevant information is disseminated by the press service of the Ministry. According to the Ministry, only in the past 24 hours, as a result of the monitoring of persons in self-isolation, 13 facts of violations of the regime established for them were revealed, and all of them were quarantined. Similar facts have been identified in the regions of Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Ajaria, Guria, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti. In previous days, 42 others had been quarantined for similar violations, bringing the total number of offenders to 55. The regime of self-isolation by the decision of the interdepartmental coordination council on coronavirus prevention is mandatory for all citizens coming to Georgia from potentially dangerous countries. Last week, Georgia's government connected patrol police units to monitor individuals in self-isolation to prevent them from possibly spreading coronavirus. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia calls on citizens to exercise civil responsibility and comply with the rules in force in the country.
