The Ministry of Economy of Latvia reported that on three nights Sunday, March 29 Latvia will switch to summer time, and the arrows of the clock will be moved an hour ahead, writes the portal LSM. The transition to daylight saving time in Latvia was carried out on October 25, 2019. In the European Union, there is no unified position on daylight saving time, so Latvia still has rules established by the Cabinet of Ministers on 26 October 2010. In the EU, they are stipulated by the directive of 19 January 2001 and are binding on all participating countries. At the moment, the discussion in Europe about summer and winter time continues.
