Tournament on CS: GO moved from arena in USA to studio in EU due to coronavirus

The final of the ESL Pro League Season 11 tournament by CS: GO due to coronavirus outbreak was moved from the arena in Denver, Colorado, USA to a studio in the EU, which will not be attended by viewers. This was reported by PC Gamer on March 11. It should be noted that on the Denver arena 1stBank Center the matches were to be watched by about 6.5 thousand fans. Now organizers of the competition announced that all matches will take place online, as they fully support all measures against the spread of the virus Covid-19. They also noted that one of the reasons for the decision was that due to the restrictions imposed by the authorities, more participants would not be able to reach the venue of the event. Earlier, the news agency reported that all public Overwatch League matches scheduled for March and April 2020 had also been cancelled. All of them will be played, however without presence in the halls of the audience.
