In France, a petition on the use of chloroquine in the fight against COVID-19 was created

A petition by medical figures launched by France's former health minister, Philip Dust-Blasey, gathered nearly 100,000 signatures in favor of prescribing chloroquine as a coronavirus treatment, the use of which is still under discussion in the scientific community, Le Figaro reported. The publication notes that the # NePerdonsPlusDeTemps petition requires the Prime Minister and Minister of Health of France to immediately put hydroxychloroquine in all hospital pharmacies or, if this failed, chlorochine. According to the text of the petition, each hospital doctor will be able to prescribe it to all patients suffering from COVID-19 forms of lung disease, especially patients with pulmonary disorders. We call on the state to make preliminary orders for hydroxychloroquine so that if the effectiveness of the drug is confirmed, we do not need it, the text of the petition says. We remind you that clinical research on the effectiveness of chloroquine and other drugs is currently under way in France.
