Germany plans to give Kyrgyzstan €41.8 million in grants


The German government plans to provide Kyrgyzstan with 41.8 million (3 billion 250 million rubles) for the implementation of bilateral technical and financial cooperation projects. This was reported by the press service of the Kyrgyz parliament today, June 25. Of this amount, the German authorities intend to allocate 21.8 million (1 billion 695 million rubles) for six technical cooperation projects: Promotion of perinatal health care 4 million (311 million rubles) Green economy and sustainable development of the private sector 6 million (466 million rubles) Employment promotion for vocational training 5 million (389 million rubles) Biodiversity conservation and poverty reduction through municipal exploitation of walnuts and pastures 2.9 million (225 million rubles) Creation of the Foundation for Research and Specialists 2.5 million (195 million rubles) Promoting the use of services in Kyrgyzstan that are important for quality 1.4 million (109 million rubles). And the remaining 20 million (1 billion 555 million rubles) are planned to be spent on three more projects within the framework of financial cooperation: the program of the financial sector of the Value Creation Chain 9 million (700 million rubles) The program of the financial sector of the Value Creation Chain, the accompanying event 1 million (77 million rubles) The sector health project 10 million (778 million rubles).
