End legends: Mexico celebrates the victory over the Spaniards

The battle 500 years ago between the Spaniards and the Aztecs called the Night of sorrow officially renamed in Mexico in the bitter night. Now the Mexicans will treat the important event of the time of the conquest as a defeat of the Spaniards led by Hernan Cortes, and as a victory of the Aztecs, led by Cuitlahuac. On the place where in 1520 Cortes mourned his defeated army, the government of Mexico landed the cypress, attachment plaque with explanatory text.
