Universal and non-toxic: superantibiotic discovered in Russia

For the first time in the world, Russian scientists have isolated an antibiotic from fungi that fights against the resistance of pathogens to drugs. The drug destroys biofilms of bacteria and fungi, making them defenseless before drugs. Researchers hope that its use will more effectively combat resistant infections.
